Delhi is the capital of India is located on the bank of River Yamuna. It is cosmopolitan and a metropolitan city. In the North West and south is the state of Haryana, east is occupied by Uttar Pradesh. The old Delhi is also called the walled city which was constructed in 1638. It has seven gateways in the form of arches.

Shopping is a delight in Delhi. Dilli Haat is the market selling items of different states of India. It has ethnic tough. Janpath and Tibetian market is very popular among international travelers. Other markets in order of popularity are Paharganj, Chandini Chowk, Sarojini Nagar, Lajpat nagar Market sundar Nagar and Karol Bagh. Delhi can be reached through air, and by road. Its network is very well connected to other states of India and abroad.
